Why You Should Aim To Get Financial Freedom

The greatest gift you can give to yourself is to make a f*ck ton of money

Before we start here’s the results of last week’s poll. As agreed the one with the highest vote wins. The Improvement Letter is now back to 1 letter per week.

1 letter per week got 36 votes and 2 letter per week got 27 votes.

They say money isn't that important after they got rich. They say marriage isn't that important after they grew up with loving parents. They say higher education isn't that important after they went to elite schools. People love to kick the ladder away after they climbed it first

Today's letter is different than usual.

This time I'd like to talk about money.

If you believe rich people are evil—you've already lost.

People hate the rich not realizing working to get rich and attain financial freedom is one of the greatest things you can do for yourself.

  • No more financial stress e.g. bills piling up

  • Time freedom to pursue your passion

  • Better healthcare giving you access to higher rate of survival

To become truly happy and be your real self without needing to conform to society is the true definition of wealth.

You are happier when your family is happier thanks to never having to worry about money again.

How does aiming for financial freedom result to self-improvement?

Beliefs.

If you believe you can't get rich it's the same as believing you can't lose weight and gain muscle.

The way you think about money is an indicator whether you can achieve success or not.

How self-imposed limiting beliefs hold you back and whether you achieve success or not is dictated by your beliefs.

And as usual I say "The Improvement Letter is blunt and honest, if you don't like it you can unsubscribe below"

We only do No BS advice here.

The Belief That Holds Most People Back From Reaching Their True Gifts

It's true there is inequality and unequal opportunities. And it's also true—rich is necessary if you want society to function properly.

If you hate the rich it's the same as saying to yourself "I want to stay broke to make the point that I hate rich people"

Do you really want that?

No.

You are jealous.

Yes I said it.

You hate the people who have better living standards than you because they have it better.

  • Supercars

  • Mansions

  • Swimming pools

  • etc..

The better your living standards compared to other people—the more hatred you get because of envy and jealousy.

And not only does holding on to useless emotions make you dumber—you also kill opportunities that could've made your financial situation better.

And it's not just about money.

It's also about improving your character, skills and personality.

The Reason Why Poor People Stay Poor

Entitlement

Many people are being sold a reality they deserve to get rich just because they want to.

What they don't realize is becoming rich and getting rich is a proof of success. And what success means is countless sacrifices and mastery built upon countless trial and tribulations.

Sure there are bratty kids who are born into rich families got their money through inheritance but most people who feel entitled to being rich are poor people who deserve it the least.

Society rewards you with money proportional to the value you bring.

This means—the more value you can give to society—the more money you cash in.

That's why super mega corporations rake in so much money purely because of the value they bring.

People are crazy about iPhone's and that's the value they bring. Scarcity and demand is what sells.

If you are replaceable and have low level skills—that's the reason you are earning a low wage salary.

If you were a high level functioning expert in your field and is irreplaceable (hard to replace)—countless companies will reach out to you for your productivity and results.

Aka "valuable person with valuable skills".

Nobody would be rich if everyone has a decent quality of life

LIES.

Every person in the world wants to get rich.

Nobody wants to live an average life

Many people do not want equity and equality—they want to see the successful suffer. Because it's easier to blame and resent than to compete.

Not to mention with the advent of social media—many people seem to think every rich person is a billionaire .

Most people that are wealthy aren't even known by anyone. The people you see flaunting online are fake.

No one would share their wealth openly.

People don't hate the rich. They hate being poor

When you are in survival mode your happiness is almost non-existent and your stress levels are peak.

Nobody wants to live a stressful life that they can't enjoy.

Nobody wants to work 3 jobs in a week just so they can eat and rest exhausted to pay rent.

Nobody wants to see their parents financially struggle and wonder where they will earn money to feed you.

Seeing your Mother and Father struggle to have money so you can sleep and eat comfortably everyday is one the most traumatic experiences you can have as a child.

It's incredibly painful to see your parents having financial problems without having the ability to help what your parents are going through when you were a child.

The more you reject and deny this desire to earn money the further you stray away from your potential.

The Relationship Of Money and Self-Mastery

Self-mastery is the evolved version of self-improvement.

Very few will understand what depth and skill this level requires.

Many reach this stage thanks to financial freedom.

When you no longer have to pretend to be someone else at work—please people you hate—work on the things you do not like—you are truly free.

Your real beliefs and morals come out.

And as a result—you become true to your inclinations and skills.

When that happens—you reach harmony. Like enlightenment.

This stage is commonly known as Mastery.

Notable people like "Alan Watts" and "Carl Jung" are people I can name that have attained this level.

Being free from what society and people want from you is the greatest act of self-love and self-improvement one give to himself.

Because escaping survival mode means finding peace.

What Is The Survival Mode?

Survival mode is when your body and mind focuses only on staying alive and getting through the moment, not on long-term goals.

It’s like your brain switches to “emergency settings” — using all your energy for basic needs (food, safety, rest) while putting other things (creativity, planning, fun) on hold.

When you’re in financial survival mode, it’s like living paycheck to paycheck — you’re focused only on covering the next bill, buying groceries, or avoiding debt collectors.

This makes you live a stressful life. You never have closure or reassurance you if you can pay next month's rent or happily exist without thinking about money problems.

You’re not thinking about investments, retirement, or big plans, because every dollar is going toward immediate needs. Just like in physical survival mode, your “future planning” part shuts down and you operate on short-term fixes.

It’s the difference between “How do I get through this week?” and “How do I build wealth over years?”.

Many people are genuinely unhappy because of their financial situation.

Very few can be happy if all they see is bills piling up and struggle to earn money to pay it off.

Do you understand now?

Money is not evil. Having a lot of money is a necessity for living the good life.

I can tell you good fluff about "10 affirmations to get rich" which you know is BS.

Nobody ever gets rich and makes progress by wishing.

It's always by taking action and risks.

  • Money supports self-improvement – With more financial stability, you can afford things that help you grow like courses, books, better nutrition, a gym membership, therapy, travel, even simply more free time to work on yourself instead of worrying about bills.

  • Self-improvement supports money – As you improve skills, discipline, mindset, and habits, you become more capable of earning, saving, and investing. You make better decisions and spot more opportunities.

If one side is weak, it can slow down the other.

Financial stress can limit your ability to focus on growth, and lack of self-improvement can keep your earning potential low.

But when both grow together, you move from survival mode into thriving mode.

You shouldn't hate those who aim to make money. You should compete with them.

What Happens When You Reach Financial Freedom

1) No More Stress Overload

Without the pressure of bills or debt, your mental energy is freed up for creativity, health, and relationships.

You don't have to worry if you can afford medications if you ever get hospitalized because health care is damn expensive now adays.

You don't have to worry about not making end's meet.

When stress doesn't come anymore—your creativity levels will come back.

Plenty of people live paycheck to paycheck.

They get into debt. Work to pay off that debt. Then when they don't have money—they get into debt again. And work to pay off that debt.

I must say this design is vicious. It's perfect to keep people barely living and profitable at the same time.

If you don't have debt. Never get into debt for stupid reasons. If you ever want to start a business—build capital first.

Because that way when it doesn't work out—you can try again.

The "risk it all strategy is" stupid. People hear "no risk no gain" and think they should risk it all in one strategy.

You need to hear this line "You shouldn't put your eggs in one basket".

It means you need back up plans. Having back up plans will affect your execution but makes sure you stay sane after a failure.

2) You Become Happier

  • You don't have to wake up early sleep deprived to work.

  • You don't have to see your arrogant boss everyday.

  • You don't have to worry whether you'll get fired or not.

Like I said—you don't have to get so stressed out everyday about not having control on your financial situation.

Honestly this generation is the greatest equalizer. If you were born in the 1950's-1980's to get rich you need higher capital to start a business.

You will have to deal with nasty investors and people that are always not in your favor.

But with the internet age anyone can earn money. You don't even have to show your face.

And I'm one of them. I'm not showing my face yet here you are reading my work.

In the future I plan to sell a product about building discipline. I keep getting emails about procrastination and laziness.

And in my welcome email survey it's the most chosen option.

Not to mention just a few days ago I received procrastination and laziness 3 times in a row.

I keep receiving replies like this everyday

If you're ever interested about the upcoming product it will be a full guide about self-improvement and the e-book about building discipline is a bonus with one of my referral named Minimalist Guide:

Reply below what you would like to be solved and I'll be sure to include it.

3) Time Freedom: Your time becomes yours.

You can work because you choose to, not because you have to.

You have the freedom to focus on projects, hobbies, or causes that matter to you.

Many people work on things that do not matter.

As a result—they build an identity that doesn't matter.

It rejects their core desires and actually causes problems because the subconscious is a powerful tool you can use to become better or be used against you.

If you constantly critic yourself non-stop and talk negatively too much—you are using it as a liability not as an asset.

Your mind is where creations come from. Look around you—all of those objects/machines/hardware are all made from the mind.

Through ideas and iterations.

There is a caveat about being rich like becoming arrogant or narcissism—but that’s for another letter.

Even this keyboard I'm using to type is the creation of ideas and thoughts from the subconscious.

I rarely talk about deep psychological topic because I realize most of you don't get it.

So right now I'm sticking to straight and informative advice instead of theoretical/conceptual knowledge.

In the future expect my letters to evolve. I'm constantly putting effort into making my writing skills better.

That's all for today.

See you next time.
