The Art of Self-Improvement: Why It Separates You From The Masses
IIf you're tired of being neglected and seen as a commodity give this a read
Before we start a note from the author:
Most of you will struggle to understand what I write but that's normal. I didn't used to write this deeply too.
It all came from practice and consistency. It's not like I woke up one day and be able to magically articulate my thoughts.
I'll keep most of the words I use as simple as possible. So you'll still learn and understand.
And if you struggle to read long letters which I send weekly. Read it daily for 5-10 minutes and make it bite sized.
You'll only need 4-5 days of bite size session to fully read the letters I send
This letter is not sweet. It will piss off some you but that’s just a filter. Winners will learn. And others will get left behind.

Let's start
If you're someone who never knew the concept of self-improvement—chances are you probably have thought people who go to the gym are g*y. And people who meditate are weird due to misconception.
I'd like you to know that's a biased built inside to keep you weak and exploitable.
The thing is—self improvement in it's essence is about delaying dopamine and pleasure. You are doing things that are uncomfortable at your current self for the sake of your future self.
It's how you show self-love. When you stop watching porn, eating junk food and eating sugar all the time—you give yourself permission to be healthy in the future.
It goes saying the more you do good habits the more you are never going to be the same person. Most people will look like bots to you and you'll realize they actually are.
Most people are sub-human who keeps living day to day life without having much ambition and drive. Self-improvement opens your first consciousness. It's where you realize there are things you can control and improve in your life.
But guess what? People won't do self-improvement even if they know about it.
So what do they do? They sabotage other people.
They tell—"going to the gym is g*y" or "meditation is only for monks". Losers will always stop winners from winning.
It's how the world works.
The moment you try to work harder and improve yourself—you'll be cut down and bullied so you go back to being your old and weak self.
This is also the reason if ever you are improving yourself—don't talk about it openly. People will judge you instead of being supportive.
Most people don't have the drive to improve.
Most People Are Ambitionless.
I spoke to someone much older than I was this week and I asked "Ma’am what's your dream at life" she answered "when I was very young I wanted to be an artist and when I was in grade school I wanted to be a singer, then when I was in high school I wanted to be a nurse but I realized I was afraid of blood so I wanted to be an accountant but in my time only private schools had access to those college courses so I couldn't go".
That's when I realized most people don't actually know what to do in life. They either have dreams that were sold by someone else or just choose what available option there is.
I want you to understand self-improvement makes you realize your true dreams at life.
I also asked someone else in my circle about their dreams. My long time friend told me "I want to be rich and have everyone in my family stay healthy and happy" I told him "no, you're wrong that's my dream, what is it you really want to be?", my friend paused for 5 seconds and answered "Illustrator".
Many people in life do not know what they want and achieve. They just live and coast through whatever option there is.
And this is one of the reasons why so many people are miserable.
Lack Of Identity
I keep repeating most people are bots and most likely many of you don't know what it means.
I'm no master of programming but if we take the technical side: Bots are robots with a series of commands inside their programming installed in their memory.
I'm not talking about AI agents. Those are different.
I'm talking about bots who follow commands that are repetitive and mundane.
And you guessed it—Most people are repetitive and mundane. They live boring lives, do boring work and die unhappy.
They follow trends, hacks, and whatever what most people were doing.
This results to lack of identity. Many people tie their identity outside themselves.
That’s why when something goes viral people latch themselves to it. And when it dies down they find another thing that goes viral to feel alive.
Nothing to be proud of. No accomplishments worth mentioning and this leads to loops of self-loathing and endless hate.
This is why people who are old and average in life are usually grumpy and irritable. They realize unconsciously they have not achieved their dreams at life and accepting that fact is incredibly painful so they would rather distract themselves with pleasure.
Look at men who are at their 40's to 50's who do nothing but chug alcohol every night.
Life is Painful When You Don't Improve
Before I started self-improvement my life was shit.
I had few friends who rarely I talk to and were actually fake ones. And I can't even begin to start how sad and depressing it was.
Living the same day and doing things that didn't matter was painful. To live without actualizing your potential as a young man who has a lot of ambitions is straight up murdering your own sanity little by little.
I only became joyful and happy once I started working on myself. Knowing that I was working to cure myself from this madness of not improving—helped me improved my mentality and overall health.
I became happier, I was smiling more and even became social thanks to my self-esteem being restored.
Life is painful when you don't improve. We as humans must continuously strive to become better.
We are wired for evolution and growth—not sloth and greed. We are only happy once we do to contribute value to the world.
Until you figure that out—it's an endless series of pain and struggle.
Disagreeable ness/Non-conformist Attitude
When you pursue yourself to become better it actually makes you different from most people. Because most people are just following whatever it is their parents, teachers and government tell them what to do.
When you build your own personal and unique goal—that's the moment you start to live. Most people play the following game. Always other people first never themselves.
This is why those who don’t conform are scorned.
This is why nerds end up being your landlords when you're an adult.
People who do not follow the masses are seen weird and stingy. They are a thorn to the masses who've given up on their dreams.
This is why you will feel jealous from someone else who is living their dream life. This is why you will feel shit when you see a friend doing better than you.
Non-conformity and disagreeableness is the trait of high performers. They have their own dreams, unique perspective and goals in life.
They dislike following other people because they know its BS.
Look at the great people in history.
Did you think they followed what other people wanted them to be? Hell no.
They had their own dreams and pursued it. They had haters. They had doubters. And most importantly of all—they knew what they wanted out of life.
When you pursue what you want out of life—
You start to shift the way you think. You become your self that was once lost. You act and look at yourself differently.
Having goals and pursuing them is a therapeutic experience.
Paradigm Shift: Changing of beliefs
Changing of beliefs is realizing most of the things you knew about life was wrong. Many people have never experienced this kind of phenomenon so they die old and foolish with a lot of regrets.
When you no longer function what society wants you to be—you start to see what's wrong with people and why they are idiotic for following stupid standards—you start to see what's wrong and avoid it.
The more you improve yourself, the more your mentality and thought creation improves. Leading to a better lifestyle.
Your life will continuously get better the more you attract good people. The better your mental health the better quality of friends you'll attract. This means no more fake friends, drama makers and back stabbers. Although you are not immune you will no longer tolerate people who are negative and cause nothing but stress. You will only look for those who contribute something meaningful in your life. Being friends with people just because you know each other is stupid.
The more you pursue things that are good for you the more you are likely to build a stronger and healthier mind. Once you're in self-improvement around 6-12 months after you'll realize how unhealthy your parents and friends are. Being fat and broke will feel unwholesome to you. You will become allergic to people who do nothing but drain and waste your time. You will continuously want to improve. It becomes an insatiable desire to conquer yourself.
The biggest benefit of self-improvement is you'll stop hating yourself- Once you start being serious on self-improvement you will stop making excuses. And making excuses will hurt.
You will know deep down your excuses are just cope. And to solve this you need to understand your own emotions and insecurities.
You need to do introspection to see if you were lying to yourself or not. This is what Live Intentionally: 90 Day Self-Improvement Program helps with. Yes this is a plug.
Self-Actualization
This is the next stage of self-improvement and usually achieved once you start to pursue life quality over quantity.
If you've read my letter about "Why being rich is good" you'll understand how life quality gets better and better when you have option that money brings. It's all quality quantifiers where life goes up when given choices to never beg to a boss for a raise and actually do what you really love doing without anyone commanding you.
Improving your life isn't easy but simple.
You just have to do things that are uncomfortable but good for your future self.
That's all for this week.
See you next time.
